HOLDuntil urge
Rest2:00
A fixed 2-minute breathe-up, then you hold exactly until the first urge to breathe – no target time, no fighting.
Your benefit: You learn to read your urge-to-breathe signal precisely and train pure relaxation – the tap measures each round by itself.
How the exercise works
- 1.2 minutes of calm breathe-up before each round
- 2.Hold with no target time – only until the first urge to breathe
- 3.Tap at the first urge – that ends the round
- 4.8 rounds; you see your times only in the summary
Practise breath-hold exercises on dry land only, never alone in the water, no hyperventilation. Stop immediately if you feel unwell.
